Frequently Asked Questions

Can your machines operare from a standard UK mains power supply?

Pluse Icon

Yes. Selected models, including our 200w, 300w, and 500w air-cooled pulsed laser cleaning systems, are fully compatible with a standard UK 13A / 230V mains power supply. These models are also dual-voltage compatible and support 110V operation for increased versatility across different power environments.

Is warranty included with your machines?

Pluse Icon

Our systems are backed by a comprehensive UK based warranty package, including:

2-year warranty on the laser source
1-year warranty on the machine body

Repairs on machines are to be carried out by Pure Lasers.

Should I choose a pulsed laser cleaning system or a continious wave system?

Pluse Icon

The ideal system depends on your specific application, material type and production requirements.

Pulsed Lasers:
Engineered for precision surface treatment and controlled cleaning applications. Ideal for delicate substrates, fine-detail restoration, and localised contaminant removal across a broad range of materials.

Continuous Wave:
Designed for high-throughput industrial cleaning across large surface areas. Particularly suited to heavy-duty applications such as structural steel preparation or industrial maintenance environments where traditional abrasive blasting would typically be used.

Do you provide operator training?

Pluse Icon

Yes. Comprehensive operator training is included with every system to ensure safe, efficient, and confident operation. We also offer LSO (Laser Safety Officer) certification training.

Designed to give operators and organisations a thorough understanding of Class 4 laser safety procedures, compliance responsibilities, and workplace best practices.

Do you offer on-site services?

Pluse Icon

Yes, we do provide on-site services. In addition, we have an extensive network of trusted service providers across various regions using our technology.

How does laser cleaning compare to sandblasting or abrasive cleaning methods?

Pluse Icon

Laser cleaning is a highly advanced, non-contact surface treatment process that removes rust, coatings, paint and contaminants without damaging the underlying substrate.

Compared with traditional abrasive methods, laser cleaning offers:

- No abrasive media or chemical usage
- Minimal secondary waste
- Reduced cleanup and maintenance
- Greater precision and process control
- Lower operational consumables
- Improved surface preservation
- Reduced tooling downtime
